These are hands down the best scissors I own. I use them for nipping sewing threads and cutting yarn when knitting. When cutting thin wool (like sock weight yarn) they perform exceptionally. Every other scissor or thread nipper I’ve tried pushes the yarn sideways between the blades which only separates the fibers but doesn’t cut all the way through. These are the exception.

I found the set at the Puyallup Fair Sewing Expo and I have love using all of the scissors. Short tailor’s shears, small scissors and tiny snips. and they’ve lasted me so far for well over 15 years without needing sharpening or honing.
