The KAI RS60 - 60mm Rotary Cutter has a comfortable, soft-grip handle with a pressure sensitive blade and safety lock feature. Universal grip for right or left-handed use. Most brand of blades will fit the KAI rotary cutters. The KAI RS-60 rotary cutter has an easy change blade system. No washers or springs to worry about, making this one of the most user friendly cutters on the market.
The compatible blade for the RS-60 rotary cutter is the KAI RS-60BL blade (60mm).

This cutter has a feature that keeps the blade in “safety position” until you press it down to cut - then the blade moves out to cut. Also, the blade position can be adjusted, based on the guide for “fabric thickness.”

I did order this rotary cutter and and I absolutely love, love it! The fact the the blade is hidden and and push and is getting out is so easy! I have to say that their customer service is awesome too, first one was not work8ng and they sent me a new one right the way and I do use it every day as I make handbags, so I do cut a lot of fabric. Thank you Kai for great products.

I own several KAI types of Cutting devices scissors, rotary cutters, even nail trimmers. I have saved a lot of time using their products. I’ve almost forgotten the time and money, I’ve wasted with other brands.

I finally got a large cutter! Great for cutting thru layers of batting. And am more than pleased with all Kai products!
Scissors are fantastic and cutting boards too. All products made in Japan are thebest!! Clover products are made in Japan too. Love their notions. -

Other brands of 60mm that I have purchased over the years, have wobbled. The disc just wasn't well supported by the housing. Kai's 60mm is great! No wobble. Fits well in my hand and cuts through multiple layers of fleece like a dream.

What’s not to love about Kai’s 60mm rotary cutter. It fits perfectly in my hand and cuts through fabric like a charm. My only concern is that not all 60mm blades from other companies fit it.
