Kai 7280SE: 11-inch Serrated Professional Shears

$79.99

Product Description

The 11-inch Kai 7280SE is considered an ideal length for most sewing enthusiasts.  Its micro-serrated blade is designed to cut and grip on even the most slippery of fabrics such as silk and satin. While it is also capable of cutting thicker fabrics with ease, the Kai 7280SE meets almost all sewing project cutting needs.

The 7000 series scissors, including the 7280SE, are made of a high carbon, hardened stainless steel.  The addition of carbon allows for a steeper cutting angle, giving the scissor a sharper, finer edge.  The carbon also allows the finer edge to last longer.  This gives the 7000 series the ability to cut through thicker fabrics without fatigue.

  1. New scissors...... ahhhhhhh 5 Star Review

Posted by on Nov 5th 2018

I’m a lefty who was taught to sew by my right handed mother. I never had success with left handed scissors: the blades always tilted in my hand. After years of searching for the best cut with generic grips, I took the plunge back to a true left grip and blade. It’s taking me a bit to adjust, mostly visual as I become comfortable with seeing the left blade lead, but I do love the precision and ease of experiencing this switch using my new pair of Kai scissors. They are quite wonderful. Now I want a pair of lefty pinking shears!
