  1. Very useful for large jobs 4 Star Review

Posted by on Oct 11th 2020

I install stretched fabric wall/ceiling coverings for a living, so I deal with hundreds of yards of fabric at a time. Smaller scissors aren't nearly as handy for that volume of material and contribute to fatigue, whereas these larger shears make it far easier to maintain the speeds necessary to keep jobs profitable. My only reservation is that I have to return them to the mfr for sharpening, since they seem to be ground at a non-standard angle that my local service businesses can't handle, and the time involved required me to buy a second pair so I am always prepared for work.

  2. Worth every penny! What a joy! 5 Star Review

There's really nothing as satisfying as a good tool, and these scissors are simply terrific. They are super sharp and pleasantly balanced so that they're easy to use.

  3. LOVE these shears 5 Star Review

I've used Ginghers for decades but a friend sent me a pair of these as a thank you. They are fabulous. She initially sent a left handed pair (I am left handed but cut with my right) I reached out to Kai and they sent me the correct pair along with a return mailing label to send the others back. Great customer service.

Hands down best scissors I have ever used. I cut through 10 layers of denim cotton with no issues. CUTS LIKE BUTTER. Cut edges are clean! I enjoyed my first pair so much I had to purchase another pair for my step mom. Definitely 10000% recommend.

  6. Best Scissors Ever 5 Star Review

It feels like they were made by Nasa. I actually experience joy when I cut fabric using these. I am a fashion designer and sewing teacher, I've used a lot of scissors, none are like these.

Bought 3 professional model. shears. 1 has serrated edge, These are the absolute best sissors I have ever had. The weight, sharpness and design are perfect. Slices through everything I have used them on with ease. You can buy cheaper but you certainly cannot buy better. If you want the best in overall quality then Kai is the sissor for you.

These are amazing sheers! The quality is far superior to anything else I have used and they have stood up to industrial use with no issues.

  9. great scissors 5 Star Review

I have used many scissors, none as good as these. I've bought several pairs for my shop because everyone wants to use mine.

  10. Lighter than expected 5 Star Review

Posted by on Jan 31st 2019

I have a mid-range pair of Kai scissors but I thought a larger pair would be nice so I bought the ten inch pair. My concern was that I was buying a pair to heavy for me to comfortably use to cut out garments. While the scissors are a good weight for their size they are two inches longer than my current pair. Imagine my happiness when I started using them and the ease with which they cut out garments. There is no hand fatigue even though they are heavier than smaller sized shears. Not sure how Kai manages this; the buttery soft way they cut fabric or the smoothness of the open /shut of shears or a combination of both. Whatever it is these shears are great . So if you are wanting a larger size have no fear they are quality and will work well.
