The KAI 7205 - 8-inch Professional Shear that is ideal for thicker, more difficult fabrics. The 7000 Professional Series, including the 7205, are made of a high carbon, hardened stainless steel.
The addition of carbon allows for a steeper cutting angle, giving the scissor a sharper, finer edge. The carbon allows the finer edge to last longer. This gives the 7000 series a better ability to cut thicker fabrics and allow for easier use.

I was searching for really good scissors which would give me clean edges on my fabrics. As a garment sewer, I spend a lot of time cutting and my hands often cramp. These scissors are extremely light, wonderfully sharp and hold their edge. I purchased the 8 inc, but will be returning to purchase the longer blades and a pair of snips.

I have owned many scissors over the course of decades. However, none have been as sharp as the Kai scissors. I've always been tempted to use the coupons for local fabric stores when I needed a new pair. Those scissors are not bad, but they do not compare to the Kai scissors. I have never had a pair of scissors that cut as beautifully as these. As an added bonus, when they do start to get dull, I can send them back to Kau to be resharpened. I will definitely do that. Thank you Margaret and Judy from Before The Stitches for having Kai on your show to enlightened all on the wonderful world of Kai!

I have a pair of the regular 7205 Professional shears - and they have been life changing! I asked Kai if they could serrate a pair for me - and voilá - done! With slippery fabrics such as silks and nylon - these grip and cut like nothing I've ever used. Thanks, Kai - you've done it again.

I have been a sewing hobbyist for the past five years, often making garments out of medium to heavy weight denim. Over time, the Gingher shears I have been using started to damaged the nerve on my right pinkie finger, forcing me to look for an alternate pair. After some research, I decided to give these Kai shears a try. They made a world of difference. Cutting multiple layers of denim is a breeze. My hand no longer feels fatigued even after a multi-hour cutting session. Thanks Kai!

Sharp as a razor, ready to cut fabric. The 8 inch size is perfect to navigate around sharp curves and cut out pattern pieces with accuracy. Not too big, not too small, just right!

I bought the tiny little 4 inch snips N5100 at a quilt show and love them. During the Covid-19 lock down I couldn't get my sewing shears sharpened so I decided to purchase the 8 inch 7205 Professional Shears. I was amazed at how they cut through fabric like cutting through butter. They are comfortable in my hand and I will never go back to my other brands. These are winners!

I haven’t purchased sewing shears for years And whenever I needed a pair somebody in the household had used and filled mine. I wasn’t convinced any were worth the price however I am 100% satisfied. No longer worried about cutting good fabric. Thank you !!

Smoothest cutting scissors I have ever used.

I have used many different kinds of scissors before., but these are by far the smoothest cutting I have ever had. My husband bought these for my Christmas gift (by request). I do a lot of sewing and will use them lot.
