The KAI 5100C 4-inch Needle Craft (Curved Tip) Scissors have sharp, pointed, and curved tips that allow for flexibility in clipping jump stitches in embroidery designs, lettering, machine quilting, beadwork, and fly tying for fishermen.
The curved tips on the 5100C also aid in cutting away stabilizers from the back of embroidery projects and they are useful for appliqué projects as well.

I absolutely love these scissors so much that I bought 2 pair. I love applique & they're the best ever for trimming fabric in the hoop!

This economical choice of scissors is incredible. It is sharp, it feels good in the hand, and works perfectly. I already own 10-12 different small sewing scissors, and this one beats them all, hands down.

Excellent quality for thread snipping and close work. The curved tips prevent me from snipping the fabric by mistake. I keep mine at hand, right next to my sewing machine.

These are my favorite scissors at the sewing machine, for embroidery and slow stitch quilting. They are reasonably priced and are a great idea for gift giving. The scissors fit in Kai's lanyard which make them handy to use.

I love Kai scissors. I have about 20 other name brand scissors but I only use Kai for my cross stitch, knitting and paper crafts. I always order Kai scissors when they have a sale even though I am still using the original Kai scissors I bought. But you never can have too many scissors. I love the sharp points and the sharpness of the blades.

What's not to love about any Kai scissor? I used my first pair at a friends house about 10 years ago and I was hooked - I now own about 8 pairs. The curved tip scissor isn't something you use all the time but it's so perfect for detail work and the slight curve allows you to easily clip close in tighter spaces.
