How To Use A Coupon Code

Using a Coupon Code 101:

Typically during special sales, like our Annual Customer Appreciation Sale, you as a customer will receive a coupon code that is good for a discount to a product or order.  In this document, you will be shown step-by-step instructions, with pictures, for how to use your coupon code.

Using a coupon code during Checkout (Full Instructions):

Step 1: Your first step is to choose a product that you like, and add it to your cart.

Now that you have found an item that you want, scroll down to the bottom of the page and press "Add to Cart."

Step 2: Once you have pressed the "Add to Cart" icon, you will be prompted with the following page:

At this point you can continue shopping, view or edit your cart, or proceed to checkout.  If you choose to continue shopping you will be taken back to viewing products in the store.  If you click proceed to checkout, you will immediately be taken to the checkout process.  The checkout process will be discussed on Step 3. You will still be able to use the coupon code if you select proceed to checkout.

Step 3: Entering your coupon code during checkout.

Once you have finished adding products to your cart, and you have pressed the red "proceed to checkout" icon, you should be taken to the following screen:

Step 4: On this screen you will need to click on "Coupon/Gift Certificate". You can find it on the right side of the screen in the order summary section.

Step 5: After Clicking "Coupon/Gift Certificate" a box will appear. Enter the coupon code and click apply.

At this point, you can proceed with your purchase and smile at the thought of saving so much!  Way to go super-saver!

Using a Coupon Code while Shopping:

Step 1: Anytime during your shopping experience you can enter your coupon code, provided that you have at least one item in your cart.  To use your coupon code while shopping, click the "item" link in the upper-right of any page at www.kaiscissors.com. An example is shown below:

Step 2: After selecting the "items" link, you will be taken to the following page where you can apply your coupon code for a discount.  Warning: If you do not have at least one item in your cart, the coupon code will not apply to your order and a fail message will appear on the screen.  Though, if you have at least one item in your cart when the coupon code is applied, then all future items added to the cart will also have the discount applied automatically.

 Step 3: Woohoo, you can now celebrate your successful savings adventure.  Now feel free to continue shopping or to checkout at your leisure, as the discount will successfully apply to all items added to your cart.
