I never knew these existed, I heard someone on a sewing video say that when she moved she made sure her Kai's were in her pocketbook and not packed when she moved. She held them near and dear with her!!!.So I looked them up and I was hooked. Love them, so sharp, comfortable and a very reasonable price. I will buy the whole assortment. I've recommended them to everyone that will listen. My book club, my knitting group, friends and family a like Thanks so much.

Sharp all the wa to the point. I'm still figuring out how best to hold them for trimming applique but I get a nice clean cut.

It cut close to the threads without cutting threads in Hardanger embroidery, resulting clean buttonhole edges. The rounded plastic handles are a little larger than other scissors and very comfortable to use.

This is the perfect scissor when you have a need for intricate cutting and the bent handle is terrific. I debated about getting the blunt tip vs. the sharp one and the I'm glad I got the blunt model. It's very slightly blunt which allows you to minimize cutting errors yet it still has a sharp point for when you want one.

I love all my Kai Scissors. I have 4 pairs. They are all razor sharp to the tips and are beautifully aligned. The Eye of the Beholder scissors are my favorites for trimming applique figures that I have basted to my background. They are also great for collage quilts. The blunt tip is a critical feature to avoid cutting the background. The bent handle saves my wrist, elbow, neck, & shoulder because I don't twist my body as much to cut.
I may buy a pair of the Eye of the Beholder with sharp tips for making freezer paper skinny stems Pearl Pereira style.
Finally, the red scissor tip covers are great. I'm gradually buying one for each of my good scissors of other brands.

This is the 3rd pair of KAI scissor I have purchased. I love them! They are razor sharp so don't have to cut something more that once. I won't buy any other brand.
